Veteran's PATH

REPORTS TO: ExecutiveDirector


Familiarity with general office procedures either through formal training or equivalent experience.
Previous work experience in an office environment and non-profit experience preferred but not necessary.
Computer literate with knowledge of word processing software programs.
Must possess good organization skills, good interpersonal skills and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.


This position is responsible for providing generaladministrative support as needed, including but not limited to:

Perform basic administrative tasks including picking up mail, making deposits, invoicing, running financial reports with accounting firm, assisting with annual audit etc.
Assist with the completion and filings for the organization
Coordination of Executive Director’s schedule and correspondence.
Email correspondence/maintenance
Coordinate with CA office staff and board of directors
Help as needed with research for programs and events
Assist with review of administrative procedures and development of systems to assure compliance by all staff
Staff liaison for events, retreats, and programs.
Maintain inventory for office supplies, and computer software
Maintain master calendar of in-house meetings
General office duties such as typing, bookkeeping, flow of correspondence, filing, requisition of supplies, faxing
Booking travel, hotel arrangements, and rental cars as needed.
Coordinate materials for meetings and training sessions and other activities of the organization
Maintain and update database as needed
Receive and distribute all incoming mailing and coordinates outgoing mail, including courier services, postage meter account, and interoffice mail distribution.
Assist in preparation of materials and meetings for the board of directors
Provide meeting support as needed (e.g., scheduling conference rooms, coordinating food, logistics)
Assist in the update of the website
Provides administrative support to staff for copying, faxing and large-scale mailings.
Maintenance of documents and online cloud drives.
Responding to staff requests for administrative support as needed.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested with a sense of humor and team spirit.


Administrative support experience is preferred, but not required.
Being a veteran or having experience in veteran community considered a plus.
Excellent organizational skills (oral and written) and the ability to excel at details, multi-tasking and working under pressure.
Must have some experience and skilled in the use of software programs such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Familiarity with Sales force, Classy, Mail Chimp, and Google products is preferred, but not required.
